So last September I bought a T3 tactical in .223. Round count is about 1500. It's a good shooter. Seems to like 75gn pills the best, but does acceptable with 69gn.

Primary purpose is target and some varmint shooting. 100 to 500 yards.

I'm considering having it rechambered to 5.56 to take advantage of cheaper, more plentiful ammo.

I'm undecided because I don't like the idea of "fixing" something that ain't broken.

Your thoughts? Pros? Cons? What am I missing?

Thanks

If it aint broke, don't fix it. Just shoot it. Another 500 to 1500 rounds and you'll be replacing the barrel. Then you can re-chamber as desired.
