How thick is good enough for magnum 7mm build?

Just built a saum with a .250. I'm sure .250-.300 is plenty. As Dave Tooley said recently, do you think you can bend one with your shoulder?

That's a very good point

.187 works, so do the .250 and .300. The main idea is a precision ground lug. So pick your thickness.

Large contact area is a good Idea. Bed the lug.
