TLDR: Need a 'hide approved 35mm extended mount for lots of eye relief
I shoot my AR's nose-to-charging handle which makes things kind of a pain for eye relief. Is there a recommended quality 35mm mount out there with 3 inches (or more) of cantilever?
I know ADM & Larue have some mounts with 3 inches of cantilever but they use split rings & y'all have me spooked on those; are there any alternatives that will move the scope equally as far enough forward and aren't split rings? FWIW, I mocked up my scope with a 35mm 3 inch ADM (Recon-X) and it gives me eye relief I need where the 2 inch ADM (Recon) does not.
Recon on top & recon-x on bottom. I need something comparable to the recon-x but not split rings.
