Recommendation needed on spot. Scope

My shooting partner and I are thinking about pooling our resources and getting a nice spot. scope.
Min budget $1k, max $2k

Any recommendations from you experienced folks?

My recommendation would be to find another guy or two to join the pool and get a Hensoldt or Swarovski. EO has a sale on the spotter 45 and 60 right now.
