Recommendations for gun builders in or near Connecticut

Hi guy's,
As the title states I am looking for some information on who would be local for me. I am starting to look into building a rifle and was trying for find some information. I would like to know if there are any reputable gun builders/gunsmith's in my area. I am in southern Connecticut and willing to travel a few hours if need be.
