So I have an old Red Field Lo-pro scope that I got on a rifle that my grandfather gave me.
The other day I took the scope off of the rifle to do a bedding job and when I put it back on, it just didn't look right. I could see the internals of the scope. I'm pretty sure that before I took the scope off, when looking through the scope you could not see the internals. Pic below. Also there is an audible rattling when the scope is shaken.
Since this is similar to the scope that was used on the M40, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Is there any where I can send this scope to have it serviced to fix this issue. The scope does have some sentimental value so throwing it away isn't an option. What do you guys think?
