Looks like it passed 7-4 yesterday and moving on to the house. Last ditch effort to write the house reps. I sent off my fourth letter this morning and made all the calls again but it time to start looking at moving I guess.

I wonder what percentage of "us" actually get involved and even send a simple canned email? Bet its low.

here's a list if you wanna give it a go.

It’s probably low because most know it won’t do any good. You got to organize a group in CO and start speaking loudly. It’s the only way they respond. If that doesn’t work, sadly, hire someone to lobby for you.

I bet it is low and there is a good chance, almost a guarantee it is going to pass. That said, at least I can bitch about it unlike the probably 90 percent of gun owners that didn't do shit but lay down and watch. There are some loud speaking groups here but it sure seemed like a formality hearing yesterday. The biggest problem is that we are all so divided on issues that it makes us weak. I do wonder if the state senate and house boxes were absolutely flooded by people, not today, but last month, if it could have made a difference. I guess the 90% will be happy to hand em over when the knock on the door comes so maybe it doesn't matter to em anyway. This state is going in a real bad way, real fast.

@zeroz , I'm curious about the letters and whatnot that you and others are making to these "representatives" (and I use that term loosely).

Curious because, are they going to turn the tables on you and others whom are like-minded, and use the return address of said letters to form their "list" of red-flaggers because of the fact that they'll see your numerous letters as "harassment" and even 'stalking'?

We here all KNOW that isn't the case, and we all KNOW that the concept is illogical,,,,, BUT we also all KNOW that the blue party is illogical. Ergo, my curiosity.

Colorado also now has a bill on Gov. Polesmoker's desk to give all of our Electoral Collage votes to the winner of the popular vote.
I am sure he will sign it.
That won't change much as in the last election our votes from the perimeters of the Front Range and Ski Areas went to Hitlary anyway but Trump carried those districts by large margins. The Libtards won there.
Had the Electoral Collage concept, as written by our Forefathers been honored, there would have been a separation of how many votes went where and the conservative areas would still have lost but not as many votes would have gone to her.

It seems to me that most people really do not understand the reasoning behind the Electoral Collage and why it is there and are content to have everyone being governed by the Cities and dense population areas and FUCK the rural areas that cover a large portion of the State.

It seems like nobody had ever attended a class in school that explained all of that to the point that they understood the concept.

I'm kind of surprised by Vermont though.

Yeah, I thought about that and didn't get aggressive or attack anyone personally. I just stated that the bill was not well thought out, was going to put LE and law abiding citizens in harms way of each other, was not going to do anything to prevent someone who was mentally ill from getting another gun or lashing out once theirs were taken, it was unconstitutional without due process, fraudulent claims were going to flood the system, and the state was likely to get sued potentially taking resources from actually helping the mentally ill.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if it, or any of the other times Ive voiced my opinion on nonsense or unenforceable laws that have passed here is used against me. Shit, they have all the info on this site and a bunch of others, I am sure they can make us all terrorists if they want to.

There is no way this isn't passing. We're done. I'm confused how this is even Constitutional w/o due process.
It’s not. That’s why it’s great to be the communist blue party in charge. You can ramrod anything through that you like. The best part is the yellow bellied red party will never undo anything if they are ever in power again. Buy more ammo folks, this is just the beginning of the end.
