Could some one that is using Redding Type S dies and Nosler .300 Rem Ultra Mag brass tell me what size neck bushing you are using.

My brass is still a month away and the rifle has turned up so would like to have all the reloading gear ready.

Thanks

Will the size of the bushing not depend upon the thickness of the brass and the amount of neck tension required/desired? What brass are you using? What is the thickness of the brass? How much neck tension do you want? 0.308 - (desired neck tension) + (2 x neck brass thickness) = bushing size... Of course, you could use the expander ball to set neck tension, but then what is the point of the bushing system?

You have to check a loaded round, but I can tell you that my Nosler 300WM brass requires a 333 bushing for me to get .002 of neck tension. You should have a few bushing sizes on hand to account for different brass.

My Remington head stamped brass takes a 331 bushing, with two thousandths tension, good luck and start running your bushings down now, not the easiest to find.
