Not quite a scope question, but I don't know where else to try and put this. Over twenty years ago, I was gifted a set of Redfield Olympic front sight including the front barrel mount and a used but servicable rear sight, courtesy of the USMC. Kind of a consolation prize for me, I chose to go with my unit rather than go to the battalion team. I have yet to do anything with them. Just sitting in the box all these years. No way with my eyes am I shooting 600 yards with these anymore, but I could use them to 200 or so...

I was going to do a build and was wondering if the rear sight could be mounted to the 20 moa rail without too much of an issue. Does somebody make a mount for that? I looked at the Sinclair catalog with no luck, course I might be looking in the wrong spot. Sure would be nice to have a set of "backups" in case a scope goes down while hunting. I have one decent rifle and it is a dual purpose rifle for one day something like the Vortex Challenge and hunting.

Thoughts and thanks in advance, I know somebody here will know.

You can use a lens in the front sight, a lens in the rear sight, or both (basically a telescope without a tube) to accommodate old eyes or focus issues.

Mo Defina once made 20 MOA bases to which you could mount your Redfield directly to once you removed the scope.

This one is by Ken Viani:

This is a Lipski mount and bracket, and it can also probably be mounted on a 20-MOA rail (carried by Brownell's, it's meant for ARs. The mounting plate has a variety of holes for you to adjust height for your Redfield Palma or International):

RPAs and Centras mount directly to Weaver or Picatinny bases.
