I'm still debating on a scope to put on a deer hunting rifle for a gift for my father. It was suggested that I try the Vortex Viper 2x7 (its on clearance). I like the viper line. Has anyone used or compared the Redfield Revolution. At its price range I could afford a 3x9 or 4x12 for his older eyes, or is the viper glass that much better even at 2x7.
