Reload Swiss powders- RS 60

I'm currently using Reload Swiss RS62, and will be testing the RS60 nex and then Vihtavuori N160. All waiting for their turn
I'm still in testing phase of finding the best load.
At this point in time, it behaves pretty well. I got SD's at minimum of about 9 fps for now. It's max load vs max speed are pretty safe (it's hard to load it to extreame pressures even if my bullet is seated only .020" form JAM.
According to QuickLoad you'll get much more pressure from the RS60 as an example:
43 gn of RS62 + All other parameters the same -> gets me about 2783 fps and 54726 psi pressure
43 gn of RS60 + All other parameters the same -> gets me about 2899 fps and 59570 psi pressure

Both of them are much more powerful then the N555.

Form the simulation in QuickLoad I get that using the RS60, I could potentially get more speed with less pressure. But I will test it of course :)

I am considering RS 60 as alternative (cheaper) to VV N 555 for reloading 6.5CM. Could you share your experience with RS60?

I have been using RS60 practically since it came to market in my .284win and 284Shehane tacticool rig my shooting buddy is loading 6.5CM with it .

RS60 is very similar to Reloder RL17 , gives 60-100fps more than comparable powders, very easy to load to low ES and SD , but is relatively temperature sensitive. It's kinda deceptive in that it will show no signs of over-pressure on the primers while you are redlining it , once you see indications on primers you way too hot already
Ease of loading hot and high speeds will also eat the barrel faster than other powders. No free lunch.

Like said its quite affordable in Europe vs Vihtavouri, i buy 10kg pails for most bang for the buck. ;) One of the few powders you can still buy in big buckets.

It's very interesting that it able to produce so much more speed, than others with less pressure marks. Is this because the burn rate is a bit faster but also the burning speed curve is better suited for the task? I'm curious as I'm only getting to start to know how the internal combustion physics work.

Do you know how much more sensitive the RS60 is to other powders like RL17, Vihtavori N160/N550/N555?
