Reloading 90 grain bullets for 22-250 ??

Hello everyone. I really appreciate all of the feedback on my last question. I now have one more question regarding 22-250 reloading. I am currently building a custom 22-250 from scratch. My barrel should be arriving within just a few days. It's a McGowen fluted bull barrel with a 1 in 7 twist so that I can run heavier bullets through the pipe. I am planning on running some 90 grain matchkings through it, but I can only find loading data on bullets up to 80 grain. I am wondering if there is anyone that has a few ideas on powder charges to start with. I would greatly appreciate any and all advice and insight. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I have a 1 in 8 in my 22-06 and it handles Berger 90 VLDs just fine (sub moa to 600).
I don't know if you can get enough powder in a 22-250 with a 90. I am running CCI 250s and 60 gr of H869 which is a compressed load in a lot bigger case to get 3600 fps.

I'll be interested to see your results. I suggested a very similar project a bit over a year on another forum, and was talked into using a 6mm cartridge pretty quickly. The few who had tried it with a .22-250 had pretty spotty results; one guy burned out his barrel doing load development (~1000 rounds), and gave up.

Now, a year later, there are several guys on that forum shooting fast-twist .22-250s, with pretty good results. A 6mm would be more versatile, and at least should enjoy better barrel life with 80-90 grain bullets.
