Reloading bench

Re: Reloading bench

This now has a single stage press mounted on the back side. It's small, but obviously movable.

I like stable. Bolt it to the wall and you're GTG.

Working height is important too. I only know one guy that sits to reload, so his is low.

Order is needed, clutter hurts.

I've seen internet plans for benches, prefab kits, and entire basements dedicated to reloading. Great ideas Here

Re: Reloading bench

There is a thread in the photography forum"bench room pics" that you should check out.It may be back to the 2nd page or so.Some of these guys have some great benches! Pete
My bad, someone beat me to it,Pete

Re: Reloading bench

I had a Rockchucker that could shake any bench, so I bolted the bench to the wall.

The Forster Co-ax press requires low handle force and so does not require nearly as solid a bench.

If the bench is unstable, but long, the rockchucker can be mounted on the end of the bench. Then the force, in reaction to the downward force on the handle, is to try to raise the other end of the bench. This is the most stable configuration.
