relocating to either san antonio or raleigh

hi folks - i'm not a new member, but it looks like i'll finally be able to put kalifornia behind me. i was born here and grew up here and have realized, sadly, it's just not the same as when i was a boy and ronald reagan was governor.

it looks like i'll have the option of going to either san antonio, texas, or raleigh, north carolina. i know that raleigh has camp butner nearby, so it looks like i'd be able to shoot high power and long range there. not sure if there is any tactical rifle in the area or not. anyone from the area know or know where i could look to find that?

i'm having a hard time coming up with organized resources for san antonio. i'm sure there is long range and tactical rifle there, but i can't find the right place to look. if any folks from the san antonio area could help point me to where i should look, i'd appreciate that.

<edit> and if y'all could suggest good places to shoot in san antonio or raleigh areas, that would also be a great help.

NC has some of the best shooting in the US, but that also comes with some left leaning politics and people. You might not notice coming from Kalifornia, but NC is no TX.

If you do head over to the East coast I suggest you check out Carolina Shooters Club. Best group of guys out there.
