Rem 700 LA- best size for 6.5X284 repeater build?

I am collecting parts for a 6.5 X 284 build, and assumed that a long action (Rem 700 vs short) is best.

I have a single shot - OAL for cartridge in this rifle is 3.055" ( 139 Lapua Scenar ).

Just got a Surgeon DBM / LA for build & seems like ALOT of room in the mag. ( made for 300 Win Mag). Any opinions? I have a 700 LA action on the way...

weight and length of action are not a concern, good feeding from mag is a concern. Opinions appreciated... thanks.

Long action, as the throat burns in the rifle that 3.055 will grow substantially.

Looks like LA is the way to go, altho I read it SA could be used. thanx.
