I was in a local store here today and had the chance to put my hands on a 5R finally. Nice stick to say the least. I noticed that the one they had in 300 WM had a 24 in barrel. Also it seems like most of the stuff I read on the 5R is in the 308. Does anyone have any experience with the 300 WM in the 5R offering, specifically with the 26 in barrel? I am interested in this model and would like some feedback. Does it perform as well as its little brother?

All of Remingtons 5R models come with 24" barrels. I do not think they offer a 5R with a 26" tube. If they do, its news to me.

Actually all of the 300wm 5R's are shipping in 26" with the X-mark pro triggers. Some of the initial limited production run were 24" and some were 26".
I definitely have a 26". I can take pics of the label and gun if you need confirmation.
I have not however shot it so I can't give any feedback other than to say that it exists. Hopefully I should have base, rings, and optic sometime soon and get it to the range.

Doesn't that just drive you crazy to have a rifel like that and not have the other components in to shoot it. I would love to hear a range report when you get the chance to get it out.

Yeah. I got a good deal on the gun and jumped on it. Actually sold I pistol to get the free cash. Now I'm trying to finish a build I have half the parts for and it took a back burner. I'll definitely let you know when I take her out.

I've got the 24" model in 300wm, good shooter 1/2"moa. I think it will get better with more load dev. Had my smith put a brake on it and then dura-coated flat black & coyote tan stock. Shot one 1000yd match with it, laupa brass/RE22/208amax, just need to do my part better!!
