Rem 700 range time!

Ok. A few months ago I asked on here about the swfa 16x42. After some consideration I bought one.
Here is how I started this project.
Rem 700 .308 varmint from dicks sporting goods. $549.95
Rem 700p HS precision take off stock
Seekins precision 20moa base and seekins low 4screw rings.

When everything came in I took my set up to Tom Sarver at Thunder Valley Precision
Tom helped me out mounting my base and optic.
Then I went to my friends range and zeroed at 200 yards useing federal 168gr gold medal match

This past sat TVP had open range day. So my buddies and I drove out. After some rounds down range we decided to try our luck at the 1000 yard steel plate. All 3 of us hit it after some adjustments.

So I decided to leave my rifle with Tom to thread and install a break. I'm happy with my 700 so far!!!!!! I will post pics when I get it back!!!!

Idk what's worse.....the fact that grown men get as getty as little school girls every time we order or get a new part for our boom stick....or we blow our hard earned money on nothing but man toys....
