What's involved in making a switch barrel rifle out of Remington 700?

I’ve been doing some research on the web and the best I can tell is you pin the recoil lug in place and use a barrel vice and action wrench to unscrew the action from one barrel and screw it onto another. And then check the head spacing.

Is it really that simple?

Once the action has been set-up to switch barrel configuration-
Spin/torque the barrel to the receiver.
Head spacing should have been accomplished during chambering.
Shoot it.

yeah it's pretty much that simple. pin the lug. barrels that are chambered for that rig will go right on then just torque it down using a good vise
