A friend of mine has a 742 Rem, Need loading data for 30-06 in this weapon. Gas guns are not my thing, any help would be appreciated.

I have shot with RL-15 with 155 Amax. I think that I started around 42 grains and worked my way up to 48.5 grains. I can't remember but 45.5 to 45.7 grains seems to stick out as the winner. I am working on a 180 grain NBT load. I think that I may try to load some IMR4895. I had a uncle that was getting good results out of 4895 at 41 grains. I think that was on the low end at 2350 fps but it was a tack driver for that style of a gun.
