I have a remington 750, semi-auto 308 and I am considering having it threaded for my suppressor.

I checked Youtube to see if this had been done before, did not find a video.

What considerations should I be aware of or look for ... ?

Frankly I don't know what real question I should be asking!!!!

I just hope there is no potentional to ruin the rifle...

As long as it can be threaded I don't see a problem. Threads concentric to the bore is a must. You could write the guys at ADCO to see if they've done one before. Increased backpresure and bolt velocity may wear on the rifle over time...a long time...but I don't see an issue with it on the surface. If it has a factory front sight that may have to be removed or relocated.

What is ADCO?

I called GA P and they said they could thread the barrel on my 7600 but I will follow up with a call -today- about the 750.

I had thought about the back pressure (BP) and bolt velocity and am thinking if there is a 'spring' which controls those 'two' .....maybe a lighter spring or clip a coil or two but then that might limit use to only when the suppressor is on!!!!

I'm sure there is more to it and I will have find out. After all I've read here and the info about changing this and changing that to prevent 'stuff' from coming back via BP that the 750 hump-back receiver would seem to eliminate ALL that since the only opening in that area is the ejection port...

ADCO They have threaded all of my weapons for suppressor use and guarantee bore concentricity. Great service at the right price with quick return shipping.

you would actually need a stronger spring to slow down the bolt speed not a weaker one
i'm sure your 750 could be suppressed but i would be worried about bolt/locking lug wear.
