Rem 783 triggers and bottom metal

[BH30-06]

Has anyone tried to adapt the rem 700 triggers and bottom metal to the 783 if so how hard was it and did it all work properly Thanks

Thanks. I’ve seen some people talk about PTG and apperantly it’s gone a bit downhill. But I don’t know for sure cause I don’t have personal experience

Sorry to jump in here and derail the train...
But do the 783 fit a 700 footprint stock? I googled before months ago and never found an answer.

I put mine in a Boyd’s stock. According to their website the 783 has 7 31/32” between action screws and the 700 has 7 3/8” between action screws, so probably not.
