the bolt knob is AI in nature but the bolt knob handle..??..??

Brake is upside down because it screwed in snug that way. ive grown to like it that way. and the bolt knob is from Bill' Bolt Knobs and the bolt is a reworked Rem 700 SA bolt.

Nice rig!! Gotta love the JP brake, I personally have them on 2 of my rifles and they are extremely effective....

Does having that brake upside down blow a lot of dirt/dust when you shoot prone?

I would expect muzzle flip to be increased instead of decreased with that upside down.

Its a brake not a compensator, its reducing recoil/rearward thrust as opposed to muzzle climb.

Maybe, but with the port exits angled like that, I would expect it to produce some thrust tangential to the muzzle. Just sayin'.
