Looking to use JB weld to bed the recoil lug but has anyone done this before? I used it to bed the scope base on the same rifle, but im mostly worried about procedure and how long it should take before I unscrew the action screws holding the stock on. Also, what kind of accuracy differences have you seen? I know it wont be a giant improvement, but if I can spend less than $20 to squeeze a tiny bit of accuracy, I think that's money well spent.

Use electrical tape on the bottom of the lug, everything you don't want it to stick to in kiwi neutral show polish. Tighten screws and then back off a turn from contact, use electrical tape to hold the action in. Wait 45 min to 1 hour to unscrew the the screws. And 16-24 to remove the tape and remove the action. You might consider using a higher quality epoxy like devcon titanium
