Remington .308 rebarrel questions

I have a Remington 700 SS 5R Milspec .308, 24" barrel. I'd like to replace the barrel on it.
Looking for something a bit longer like a 26"/28". 5R rifling, pre-chambered, twist 11.25

Any suggestions?

You dont want a pre chambered barrel. Got to either bug holes or grizzly web site. pick up the custom barrel of your choice and get in on the Long Rifles group buy. I have two Rock 11.25 twist barrels and love them.

Why are the pre chambered barrels no good?

I dont know about the pre chambered barrels, but at the group buy price i wouldnt pass that up. You will know it was done right.

Call mark at accurate ordinance....... get a barrel from bug holes...send it to mark..... 3/8 inch @ 100 yards guarantee with factory ammo

For the same reason that your hand loads are better than factory ammo. Why let someone else dictate what is best for you and your rifle. Do it right the first time.
