Remington .338 Modular Sniper Rifle

Just read the article in the Sep 09 issue of "Tactical Weapons" and this multi round modular chassis sniper system seems pretty impressive. Rifle is less than 18 lbs loaded, system can be changed between .308, .300 Win Mag, and .338 Lapua each with differing barrel lengths and changes can be made in less than 20 minutes time...

It is for the upcoming SOCOM PSR solicitation...anyone read or know anything more than what is in the article...such as when WE might be able to buy one?

Anyone got any scoop..?
