I just recently got a HS Precision 025 stock and dropped in a Remington short action that was worked over at Hart barrels and a 14 twist tight neck 6br barrel at 21 inches installed. I had this in another stock and it shoots like a lazer. I want to use this varmint hunting and shoot it as a repeater instead of single loading it as i have been doing. Thought about having it rechambered to 243 but it just shoots to good. What would be the best way to go about this or is it just a waste of time and would be a pain in the ass to convert. I would have someone install a detachable mag system if that would be the route to go as long as it feeds reliable. Also would i have problems due to it being a tight neck. What do ya think.

Your twist indicates you shoot the lighter bullets. Most of what I have researched on 6br feeding from a mag requires the longer heavier bullets. I have talked with Jon Beanland about doing a internal box fed 6br shooting the 87grn bullet and he said that is would not be a problem if we used a 223 box if I remember right. Shoot Jon a pm and pick his brain.
