Remington 700 26" Heavy Stainless HS Precision Stock Identification

Need some help Identifying this rifle. At this point, I think someone combined multiple rifles to build a basterdized M24 clone. Badger Ordinance Base and Badger Bottom Metal as well. HS Precision Stock, factory Remington Trigger. Rifle came with a Leupold Mark 4 8.5-25x50mm and a Harris Bi-Pod.
DZ is the two # barrel code, and the S/N is S6539552. Barrel is a 26" Heavy Contour, and has 6 grooves. I thought I may have stumbled on a 5R, but I no longer believe that to be the case. Did someone just take a SPS and land it on an HS Precision Stock?
I appreciate the input!
Sam

Well for one thing, there’s nothing remotely m24 about it. Not one element is m24. Looks like a standard 700 VSS barreled action in a standard PSS stock, with h&s bottom metal.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Did Remington make a factory configured 26" Stainless Heavy Barrel on a HS Precision Stock? I have been unable to find an example that was offered from Remington in this action, barrel, and stock configuration. I already know what it's not.

Much better. I dont think they did.

Im actually much more curious about why you care what it is? Seriously.

When I sell something I like to list exactly what I am selling. If it's a pure Frankenstein gun, then that's how I will advertise it. Any other brain busters?

Right before they went tits up. They were offering different configurations to retailers that weren't typical.
It appears that remington was cataloging a 26" stainless .308 varmint model, most of those appear to have fluted barrels though. I'm guessing a frankengun with a decent selection of parts. Be interesting to see how it shoots.
