OK so I have this .308 that I have had for the last 9 years and have done nothing with it. I have never even taken it out and shoot one round through it. So I am looking at putting A Magpul Hunter 700 stock on it. But the main question is should I keep the barrel at the 26" length or cut it down. If I cut it down I want to have it threaded so I can put a can on it. So what Im asking is there a better route I should take with this? I want to use it as my second long range gun. I have a RPR 6.5 Creedmoore for really long range.

Frozen no reason on the Magpul. It's just something I kept on seeing around. I will look up the HRG Bravo. I hope to get more input on this topic so I can get more ideas.
