Other than the bolt face, what's the difference between a long action in 30-06 vs a 300wm. Any differences in the feed rails? I'm looking for a donor action for a 280ai and I found a pretty good deal on a stainless 300wm. My plan is to replace the bolt with a PTG one piece bolt anyway. If the 300wm action will work, I'll probably just grab it.
