Gunsmithing remington 700 and 721 trigger swap ?????

Will a trigger from 721 fit a new 700 short action? The new trigger just won't due. Thanks, Javy.

It will fit but the safety lever is at a different angle. Also the 2-piece sear is not a great idea. There is a reason Remington went away from it very early on.
