Remington 700 and Federal XM80C

I found a box of Federal XM80C in my ammo locker that I bought a couple years ago, but did not use it at the time. Now I am wondering if it's safe to shoot out of my Remington 700, I normally shoot Federal Match, but have used Federal 150gr ball ammo through my rifle, but never 7.62 nato ammo. I shoot 7.62 nato ammo through M1A's but don't own one at this time.

Just shoot it. 308 Winchester and 7.62x51 have the exact same exterior case dimensions. The difference between are the pressure specs. 308 Winchester is spec for slightly higher pressure but not by much.
