I am trying to help my dad get his new Remington 700 bdl; 300 win mag ready to hunt. It has a 26" barrel and it has a 1-10 twist rate. 1 piece warne steel base with Leupold Steel mounts and Leupold CDS. It would be nice to find a good factory load for him. Another consideration, is it will primarily be used for Wisconsin black bear and Elk out West. What is the best ammunition for those two jobs? Thanks for looking.
