I took my Father's 700 action and barrel out of the stock to clean it for him, and I'm curious, as I put this back together, is there a specific torque I should be tightening these action screws to? When I took the action out, these were pretty tight, from the factory I believe, because I know he's never seperated the action from the stock..The action isn't in a block bedding or anything, it's placed in just the wood stock..
