Gunsmithing Remington 700 Bolt Lug Question

I bought a sps varmint left hand in 308 and the bolt lugs look different than an older R700 (about 15 years old) that I have. Is this damaged or the way they are producing them now?

That is normal. Its a relief cut for the bolt anti bind rail. No worries
