And yes I know. I built a long action .308. I did this so I would not be limited to magazine length on COL.

Are you using a spacer in the magazine for the short cartridge or just running them full length?

To be honest, I just finished it yesterday. I haven't even shot it yet. I plan on running it at full length. Have to bend the ears down on the mag a little since its sized for the larger 300WM. Haven't discovered any feed problems yet. Thanks!

I am going to have to come up with something so I can get a good cheek weld on it. The scope is way too high for me. I typically shoot ARs where it is the reverse problem.
