Gunsmithing Remington 700 Conversion

I have a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .223 and a good prefit 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. I'm looking to convert the .223 to 6.5. If I were to buy a .308 bolt to go along with this barrel swap would that be all I would need to do as far as the barreled receiver would go? I understand the feed rails would have to be opened up, can I get around this by going to DBM or buying an internal hinged magazine for a .308 BDL
I know someone is going to say it would be cheaper to sell my SPS and get a .308 to start this project on but I am set on doing this project with this .223.

Yes. I mag feed a 6.5 Creedmore, and a 308 in an action from a 223 with a different bolt installed.

I saw a guy in the PX who wants to trade a 308 bolt for a 223 bolt.

I bought (3) PTG bolts this year. One short action Savage and two long action Rem 700.
There must be a lot of guys like me, with Rem 700 bolt bodies on the bone pile.
