We have an old 700p with a detachable mag, and an LTR with the bdl. The person using the LTR switched stocks. The LTR functions normally but on the 700P which now has a BDL style stock the magazine follower goes up to high in the back stopping the bolt from moving forward. Any ideas?

The receiver on the Remington DBM model rifles is different. They don't have the feed rails. You'll be stuck using a magazine system, such as a HS Precision, Badger, CDI, Surgeon, etc.

You need to have a detachable magazine setup for the 700p.
