Relisting my M40 "Vietnam Era" Clonish Remington 700 308 24" factory barrel 12 twist , c prefix action low round count less than 100 rounds fired. Tombstone safety ,Tuned factory old style trigger set at 2lbs. Remington walnut m40 wood stock glass bedded by Roberts Precision Rifles of Spring Tx , comes with aluminum buttplate marked Remington. , GI sling , stainless steel bottom floorplate , Redfield base and rings , Redfield 3x9 black with correct reticle and ranging tombstone .
Rifle is in excellent condition no damage .
Forgetting something.

Groups excellent with Federal Gold Medal match 175s in the .5 moa or under at 100 yards depending on the shooter. I loaded 175 smk and imr 4064 the generic proven load using lake city long range brass and imr xbr 8208 aswell. Both small shot groups at 100 yards. The rifle is made to hit targets past 100 though , I had no problems hitting up to 500 yards with the proper holdover.
