Remington 700 Sendero in 300WM, suggestions please

I have been thinking about getting my 300WM Sendero rebarreled. It shoots pretty good as is but I would like to set it up better! So far outside of the trigger (stock trigger which I adjusted), a Leupold LRT and a Harris Bipod I have not done anything to it.
What I am not sure about is which barrel would be good for my rifle and who to have barrel it??
Also is there anything else you would recomend and about how much would I be looking to spend??

If it shoots good now then you should continue shooting it with the factory barrel.

Any of the smiths on this site will do you right. It would be best to talk to them on prices so they can get a idea of what you want/need

What is a realistic expectation for MOA accuracy out of a 300WM?
Reason I'm asking is that I had shot competition benchrest against 6PPC's and remember their accuracy. I've just been out of the game for a bit with work/deployments.

You can realistically expect under 1/2 moa with good equipment and shooting.

they can and will shoot excellent. Have a good smith look at the crown. Some factory barrels, mine included benefit from re-crowning. Mine wasn't quite square and shot a lot better after having it re-crowned.

also, bed the action.

I think I would find a lighter recoiling rifle to shoot comps with though...

Thanks! I don't plan on comp shooting this. But I don't like having the excuse of the rifle and just like to rely on my sucking as a shooter

check out this gun it has a benchmark barrel, you might give them a try i think it was a 300 wsm

My sendero loves 71 grains of 4831 and 180 nos. bt's using winchester brass and win large rifle primers. shoots like a house on fire.
