Remington 700 Sendero Trigger Advise

Just picked up the project gun above and I am normally a Tikka guy so looking for advise on triggers. The rifle is a 7mm rem mag and will be used for tactical long range it may stay in this caliber or be rebarreled in 300 win mag. Long term goal will be to have it in a Manners T4 with Badger or CDI Bottom metal. The rifle is the older generation build date 2001.

Try tuning that trigger first. If you aren't happy with it, then drop in a Huber, Jewel or Timney.

CG jackson is also an option if you want to go 2 stage.

Little did I know my shooting buddy (another older marine) was skilled in tuning the older Rem triggers. Did it at the range and it is flawless. Just need to put something on the screws so they do not shift. That savings will pay for Kampfield CUstom to put in the Sako extractor when he flutes the bolt
