Remington 700 short action magazine follower spring

I have a Remington 700 short action in 300 whisper and I am having trouble with the magazine follower spring. The spring is not strong enough to keep the follower flat and the rounds sometimes don’t get pushed all the way up in the magazine.

The OAL of the rounds are not too long. They are not binding.

The follower is not binding and fit the mag box correctly.

Does anyone make a stronger follower spring?

Have you tried stretching the spring yet?

Does the rifle have a standard 308 magazine box or does it have the 223 box with spacer?
