I recently purchased a Remington 700 SPS barreled action in 6.5 Creedmore. Does anyone have experience on the quality of this barrel or am I wasting time trying to break in a subpar barrel. I’m on the fence of swapping for a trued Action and a remage barrel setup. I have a MDT TAC21 chassis with timney trigger. Any input would be appreciated.

The only way to know for sure is to just shoot it and see how it does.
My SPS varmint in 308 was impressive from day one even in the factory plastic stock, it just got better with a new stock and jewel trigger.
