Remington 700 SPS Buckmasters?

Hey all,

Thinking about getting a new deer rifle and am looking at the 700 SPS "Buckmasters" model in 30-06. Anyone own one of these?

What makes these different vs the 700 ADL or BDL synthetic blued models available?

I'd love a removable box mag, but the drop plate is ok. Right now I run a 700 ADL synthetic stainless mountain rifle (22 in barrel I believe) in 30-06.

I had one in 7mm-08 for a short while. The buckmasters is just a regular old SPS with a camo stock that says buckmasters on it. It is a cheap stock with a BDL floorplate. Not a bad rifle, just nothing any more special than any other SPS.

I'm a sucker for camo stocks. I'll probably get one and have the action bedded.

I'm also looking at throwing one of these bad boys on top. Nikon Monarch 3-12x42.

Cant speak for that particular 700 but I have that exact scope in Mildot and Ive loved it
