I just installed a new style timney 510 from midway usa in my rem 700 LA. When i drop the bolt in to place as though i am chambering a round the firing pin go's all the way to the decocked position. Does any one know a quick fix for this. I read on line about people having this trigger getting a long sear trigger. Is there an easier way. Is there a way to get the long sear it self and swap it in to this trigger.
Thanks

Re: Remington 700 timney trigger problem

Just fixed it. Turned out the badger m4 metal was putting slight pressuer on the side of te trigger near a safety pin. I releaved some material on the side. Just a tiny ammount and it clears and the trigger works fine now.
