Remington 700 triggers pre and post 2006

I'm new the the long gun scene and have been searching but with no luck. Will an old style trigger fit into a post 2006 rem700?? I've heard the new X marked triggers suck and want to run the old style trigger but not sure if it will fit.

I've tried to search the difference between the triggers and haven't come up with much other than the bs NBC story of the rifles going off on there own.

yes it will fit.

make sure you get one with a safety though, i dont think the x-mark safety will work on an old trigger (someone correct me if im wrong)
