Remington 700 VTR into a Manners T4A ?

Gday Everyone,

I just wanted to find out if anyone has put a 700 VTR into a Manners T4A stock before ? and if there where any issues or tricks to watch out for ?

Ive tried to do a search but couldn't find anything specific on that particular combo.

Any info would be great.

I remember seeing a picture of exactly that a week or two ago here, but I don't remember where. IIRC the VTR contour is simply milled into the regular barrel, making it smaller than a regular contour barrel. You could even see if manners would do a VTR inlet if you want it to look perfect.

The Remington VTR barrel contour is just the regular Remington Varmint contour with three flats cut on it to reduce the weight. If you need a stock for it just order one for the Short 700, BDL floorplate and varmint barrel contour.
