Remington 700 XMP trigger recall

I have been waiting forever for Remington to even send me a box so I can return my rifle to them for recall. I was wondering if its possible just to take the gun to a Remington dealer and let them fix the issue. Is that possible or should I just send it in to Remington? I just got a new scope and I am dying to throw it on there and go shooting!

Or could I just upgrade the trigger?

just upgrade the trigger. installation is simple, you can youtube it. Just make sure you order the correct one and you'll be good to go

What trigger would you recommend? I have the AAC-SD

Timney 510 narrow trigger shoe.
I also like the Jewell but they have a reputation for failing under "HARSH" conditions

that's it, you can call Timney and get the narrow shoe direct from them.
i find it more comfortable. I've had two of the wide shoes and they just don't feel right. The trigger itself id very good
