Remington 700p 338 brake

Good day Gents,

Having recently sourced a 700p lap I am keen to know if anyone has swapped out the factory brake for an aftermarket.

I have a JP (cooley) Large Tactical Compensator on hand, apart from the reduced dust kickup from prone, do these make a worthwhile recoil reduction?
