remington 870 question

I have a 870 wingmaster and I'm looking for a rifled barrel. Do I have to buy a 870 wingmaster barrel or will a plain 870 barrel fit?

Any 870 barrel should fit as long as it is the same gauge and chamber length, however I do believe a magnum barrel will still fit on a receiver that is set up for 2 3/4 only.
