    Hey all,

Just realized I bought the wrong primers. I thought I was getting Magnums but got standard instead.

In your experience, have the standards worked and performed well? I just naturally use Magnums on everything and have never had a problem. I'm going to be loading 308, 6.5 creedmoor, and potentially 308 hybrid cases with hybrid (hot) loads.

Most I've read about remingtons is all about the Magnums.

    Thanks,

The standard 9 1/2's work just fine in those calibers. . . even for those hybrids. I use non-magnum primers in all my LRP cases and they work great, including my 6.5 PRC. I do use SRP magnum's in those calibers with the SRP cases .

Remington's standard 9 1/2's are hotter than others like Federal "standard" primers:
